Semi Independent Living
Our Semi Independent Living service is for young people who are managing well with minimal daily input and are ready to take on more responsibility for their own routines, decisions and home life. It provides a safe, supportive environment where young people can continue to grow in confidence while practising the skills they need for full independence.
What This Service Provides
Low Level Daily Support
Support is offered at planned times so young people can stay on track with routines and responsibilities while still managing most parts of their day independently and with growing confidence.

Developing Independent Living Skills
Young people take the lead in managing their home life with staff offering support and coaching to help them build confidence, independence and the skills needed for their next stage.

- Using local services independently
Tenancy And Home Management Skills
We support young people to understand what it means to manage a tenancy, look after a property and communicate with landlords or housing providers in a responsible and confident way.

- Keeping the home safe and secure
Safeguarding And Safety Planning
Although staff are not on site overnight, safeguarding remains central with clear plans in place to help young people stay safe, make good decisions and know how to access support when needed.

How We Support Young People
Education, Training And Work
Young people are supported to maintain education, training or employment by building routines that help them stay motivated, organised and ready for the next stage.

Emotional And Practical Check Ins
Staff offer regular check ins to help young people reflect on how they are coping, talk through challenges and build the confidence to manage more of their day independently.

Building Confidence And Responsibility
